The medical profession has an attractive one among students and parents across the world. With lucrative prospects and the respect it commands, many students opt for this stream. Students need to appear for the NEET exam with the mandatory PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects in the intermediate course (Class 11 & 12). After qualifying, one must attend a counseling process through which a seat is allotted to a medical college.

MBBS is a five-year course in India that equips you with the necessary medical knowledge to treat patients. Sharda University is a leading university with the motto, ‘The world is here’ and is known for its good quality of education.   • AIIMS Delhi – All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi:

Sc. & MBBS courses.

  • Christian Medical College, Vellore:

Established in 1900, Christian Medical College was a missionary established by Dr Ida S. Scudder. It is a private college in Vellore that offers admission on seats against 2500 students. The college reserves 84 out of 100 MBBS seats for the minority category, while 16 are opened to SC/ST/OBC students. They have a robust research facility that enables students to dive deep into the research domain and develop new treatment methods.

  • KGMU – King George’s Medical University

Established in 1905, KGMU is a large public-funded hospital and college in Lucknow that is known for its medical excellence. It is recognized by UGC, MCI, DCI and is accredited ‘A’ rank by NAAC. It ranked second for the best dental college in India by India Today 2019. It provides 99 courses across two streams and is known to have 425 best faculties from India. The total intake is around 3000 for this institute and takes students through the NEET exam.

  • Kasturba Medical College, Manipal:

Established in 1953, KMC is located at Manipal and is known for its medical excellence along with its highly competent faculty members. They provide 76 courses across 4 streams and have been ranked 4th by NIRF 2018 in its list of medical colleges.
